Winners of the Industry Awards of Excellence for caravanning, camping, touring and manufactured housing

Twenty-three NSW holiday and residential parks and caravan and camping businesses were recognised as best in the business at the 2012 Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner, on 25th July at the Fairmont Resort, Leura.

Presented by the Caravan, Camping and Touring Industry and Manufactured Housing Industry Association of NSW (CCIA), the Awards of Excellence were announced at the State’s most prestigious event on the Industry’s calendar.

Lyndel Gray, Chief Executive Officer, CCIA, said the awards are an acknowledgement of excellence in the quality of products and services within our industry in NSW.

There were 54 finalists nominated and apart from the winners, there were five commendations. This is a testament to the strength of the industry and its operators, Ms Gray said.

“The “Winter Wonderland” themed event would not have been possible without the sponsorship and support of the NSW Department of Primary Industries Catchments & Lands, Australian Turf Club Rosehill Gardens, Destination NSW, K-Mac Powerheads, Parable Productions and Tow-ed,”.

“I congratulate all this year’s winners, who have set excellent standards for our sector and for tourism in NSW,” Ms Gray said.
