A world first feat of making a fully sized GOLF Caravan disappear was performed by magician, Matt Hollywood, today on the opening day of the NSW Caravan, Camping, 4WD and Holiday Supershow at Rosehill Racecourse.
CEO of the Caravan and Camping Industry Association said that visitors to the NSW Supershow (18-26 April 2009) were witness to the world-first performance of a GOLF Bushman Tourer Caravan disappearing right before their eyes.
Matt Hollywood is the ambassador of the NSW Supershow this year to highlight the magic of caravan and camping holidays.
“Visitors to the show can plan their magical caravan or camping holiday all in the one location,” said Mr Baillie
Matt Hollywood will again perform the caravan disappearing act only at the NSW Supershow at Rosehill Racecourse at 1pm on Wednesday, 22 April 2009 and Saturday, 25 April 2009.
With over 400 exhibitors displaying the latest caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers, fifth wheelers, tents and camping accessories, 4WD accessories and holiday destinations, the NSW Supershow is the largest display of caravan, RV and camping products in Australia.
“The NSW Supershow attracts some 75,000 people to browse the latest caravan, RV and camping products and with such a diverse and extensive display of leisure products, there is sure to be something to suit everyone’s budget.”
The NSW Supershow also offers great school holidays entertainment with themed jumping castles and two shows daily by the Australian Reptile Park staff.
“The kids can have fun at the NSW Supershow this year and mum and dad can enjoy some of the musical performances by country music singer, Tania Kernaghan, Jim Harte and Jade and Rino Morea,” said Mr Baillie.
The popularity of the NSW Supershow each year is a testament to the appeal of caravan and camping holidays. Caravan and camping holidays experienced resurgence over the 2008/9summer period with holiday parks reporting high occupancy and an increase in ‘first time campers’.
“Over the summer, there was a noticeable increase in people trying a caravan or camping holiday for the first time and many of them choosing to stay in larger tents and camper trailers.”
Mr Baillie said that everyone deserves a holiday and with the current state of the Australian dollar and the global economy, it has never been a better time to take advantage of the excellent value offered by a caravan or camping holiday.
